children are dismissed to their parents at the Christopher Center following Divine Liturgy. Our Religious Education program has the following dates set and encourages all students to participate:

Nov. 18: Harvest Outreach Project (during Sunday School).

Nov. 25: Family Worship Sunday (no Sunday school classes). This is a wonderful opportunity for all families to worship together in church.

Dec. 16: Christmas Program (immediately following Divine Liturgy). Of special note: The Sunday School students will be making icons during Lent, specifically for the Sunday of Orthodoxy. If you wish, please save your religious Christmas cards for the students so that they may create beautiful icons in the spring. Christmas cards may be donated to the Sunday school program anytime after Christmas. Bring them to the church office or deliver them to a Sunday school teacher. We thank you!

Lastly, we extend a heartfelt thanks to Juliette Swazo for her generous donation to our Religious Education program. Monetary donations are used specifically for materials and supplies for each student in our program.

As the Christmas season approaches we ask that you continue to keep our students and staff in your prayers so that each may continue to learn and share in His glory. A blessed and joyous holiday season to all!

GOYA NEWS:

Holy Trinity GOYA has taken on a new look. We have re-organized and decided to take on the name GOYA. On September 12th we met with our spiritual advisor, Father James, Pete Sotiras, the Metropolis Youth Director, and Phil Louridas, Youth Advisor. At the meeting we discussed the way we should go and make plans for the year.

On September 19th we elected officers. They are:

President - Dallas Fotinos

Vice President - Sia Misthos

Secretary - Peter Haigh

Treasurer - Gregory Prongos

We invite all kids from 7th to 12th grades to join us. We meet each Wednesday, 7:00pm in the George & Tula Christopher Center. For more information please call the church office at 415-584-4747.
