Our Church in 2035
A vision of what could be…
On September 20, 2025, the Parish Council gathered for a focused vision workshop at the Christopher Center. The goal was to refresh our parish vision for the next 10+ years and begin shaping a capital development plan that will allow us to better serve our growing community.
Enduring Vision & Updated Priorities
Our core mission and values remain strong and relevant to guide us into the next decade.
Minor updates will highlight the importance of developing leaders and volunteers, integrating new members, building consistent systems, and keeping a sense of joy and community life.
Our vision continues to emphasize Holy Trinity as a welcoming, reverent, and vibrant parish with strong ministries, engaged families, and a culture of excellence.
There was broad consensus on priorities for campus expansion:
Phase 1: Banquet/Event Hall (anchor project): A flexible facility to host parish life, weddings, and community gatherings—meeting a need in San Francisco while strengthening our parish identity.
Phase 2: Staff Housing: Essential to support future clergy and staff, making expanded programs and ministries possible.
Phase 3: Cultural/Educational Hall/Chapel: To provide space for cultural learning events, classes, and enrichment
Partnering with CJK
To help us imagine what is possible for our campus, Holy Trinity has partnered with CJK Design Group, a team with deep experience in Orthodox parish planning nationwide. Their role is to provide professional insight into national trends, create visual renderings that capture our vision, and guide us in shaping facilities that serve both our spiritual mission and practical needs. With their expertise, we can communicate our ideas with clarity and inspire our parish family to build a future that is both beautiful and attainable.
Campus Development Plan
Where our Parish Family Gathers
For over 120 years, Holy Trinity has been a spiritual home where faith, culture, and fellowship come together. As we look to the future, we are preparing spaces that will allow our community to grow, to celebrate, and to serve. The new banquet hall will anchor parish life—hosting weddings, receptions, celebrations, and ministries—while staff housing and future cultural and educational facilities will strengthen our mission. Every corner of this campus is designed to welcome, to inspire, and to nurture the bonds of our parish family for generations to come.
More Than Buildings—A Ministry in Action
Our future is about more than bricks and mortar. Each step of our campus development plan strengthens the mission of Holy Trinity to worship, welcome, and serve.
Phase 1 – Gathering & Celebration
A new Banquet and Event Hall (Community Engagement Venue) will become the heart of parish life, where weddings, receptions, ministries, and celebrations bring us together as one family in Christ.
Phase 2 – Supporting Our Servants
Staff housing will provide the stability needed for clergy and ministry leaders to serve fully, expanding programs for youth, families, and the wider community.
Phase 3 – Education & Culture
A future Cultural and Educational Center will enrich our parish with classrooms, cultural events, and new opportunities for learning and growth, while other amenities will make our campus an oasis for generations to come.
Together, these steps ensure Holy Trinity remains not just a place we attend, but a ministry in action—where faith, fellowship, and service flourish.
